Crawford Award, Canadian SF/Fantasy Award, World Fantasy Award, Theodore Sturgeon Memorial Short Fiction Award, Horror Writers of America Award, and Nebula Short Fiction Award; member of Wickentree (traditional Celtic folk music band), Ottawa, 1972-85, and Jump at the Sun (Celtic/Americana folk band).
