Toronto Academy of Karate and Judo, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, director and founder, 1970—; University of Toronto, assistant professor in the School of Physical and Health Education, 1973-94, instructor of "Zen Buddhism and the Martial Arts," 1974-77; University of Guelph, Guelph, Ontario, Canada, instructor in sociology, 1980-81. Research associate at the Center for Comparative Political Research, State University of New York—Binghamton, 1969-70; research assistant at Harvard University, Cambridge, MA, 1970. Guest lecturer at colleges and universities in the United States and Canada. Teaches martial arts, self-defense, self-confidence, and fitness through workshops and demonstrations to schools, businesses, and other groups around the world.
