Greg(ory T.) Farshtey (1965-) - Sidelights

Greg Farshtey told SATA: "I have been writing since high school. Prior to my current position as a staff writer at LEGO Systems, Inc., I worked as a journalist, game designer, and direct marketing copywriter. Probably the most successful work I have done is the 'Bionicle' comic book, which currently has more than thirty-five million issues in circulation and has been translated into several languages.

"My freelance writing is done primarily on weekend mornings. I tend to be an early riser, and the quiet makes it a good time to write. I will normally work for three or four hours in a day.

"My goal is someday to write something that truly matters—that touches people, that makes some difference in their lives. But I do not think I am yet wise enough to do that."
