Duffy Grooms told SATA: "With various interests, from good old-fashioned rock 'n' roll to mythology, I always have an idea or two flitting about my head, and some that I am still shopping for a publisher. I have just graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with a bachelor's degree in classic and a minor in English literature and hope to teach at the college level after my master's degree. As a classicist, I have been looking at the great adventure stories from ancient times and am developing several of these tales for young readers."
